The description should not refer to any particular collection owned by, or service administered by, the agent.
The description should not be longer than 150 words and should be written in complete sentences using the inverted pyramid style. The inverted pyramid puts the most important information at the top, and then the remaining information follows in order of importance. Abbreviations may be used but should be explained in full, for instance: IESR (Information Environment Service Registry). Avoid information that dates quickly. Ensure that the information matches other properties in the record.
